Join the Gastronomic Season of La Garoinada at El Far Hotel Restaurant. La Garoinada is one the best-known and most traditional gastronomic events of the region of Girona, with its main product, sea urchins. This festivity is held towards the end of January until March, when the sea is tranquil and the sea urchin is at its best.

Our restaurant offers the themed menu La Garoinada that includes an appetizer, sea urchins as starters, followed by a main dish and a traditional dessert from the local cuisine.

The hotel offers two packages to celebrate the occasion:

 

Garoinada Premium Weekend, that includes: accommodation, breakfast, themed Garoinada menu, excursion on a vintage boat or a hiking route (both with a garoinas aperitif), gift of the Garoinada per room, tickets for cultural facilities, and a discount voucher for “Vins i Licors Grau” wine store.

Available weekends (only saturday night) of January, February and March. Price on weekends 206,50€ per person. Based on availability.

Available every day of January, February and March. Price during the week 145,00€ per person. Price on weekends (saturday night) 172,50€ per person. Based on availability.
